Is this a one-time $1 payment?

No. The first month costs $1 USD. After that, the subscription renews automatically at $5 USD per month until you cancel.

Can I cancel?

Yes. You can cancel future renewals. Service continues through the period already paid, subject to the Terms and any abuse or security action.

Do I need a PayPal balance?

PayPal decides which funding methods are available for your country and account. Zmail does not receive your underlying payment details.

Does the price include every feature shown?

Yes. The plan includes the mailbox, Today, ZNotes, Calendar, server email reminders, CalDAV/CardDAV sync, standard mail-app access, portal, anti-spam, supported-recipient ZMath Mail and the optional browser-only ZMath Shield vault described on this site.

Are notes and calendar end-to-end encrypted?

No. ZNotes uses two authenticated AES-256-GCM layers at rest and is automatically recoverable, which means the authenticated Zmail service can decrypt it for use. Calendar and contacts remain server-readable so CalDAV/CardDAV sync, scheduling and reminders work. Eligible Zmail message bodies use the separate browser-side ZMath Mail model.

Is there a free trial?

No. The $1 introductory month is paid and includes the complete service. It then renews at $5 per month unless cancelled.
