1. Agreement and eligibility
By creating or using a Zmail account, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Notice, Acceptable Use Policy and Refund Policy. You must be legally able to enter this agreement and provide accurate signup information.
2. The service
Zmail provides a hosted email address for personal communication, Zmail Workspace webmail, encrypted-at-rest ZNotes, standards-based calendar and contacts access, reminders, account controls, filtering, supported-recipient ZMath message-body protection, the optional browser-only ZMath Shield vault, optional bring-your-own-key OpenAI or Groq writing assistance and, where available, an optional ChatGPT connection. zSign is a separately authenticated self-hosted electronic-signature companion for preparing, sending and signing documents and retaining workflow evidence. AI-generated text is editable and never sent automatically. Features, storage, object and fair-use limits may evolve to protect reliability and abuse prevention.
3. Subscription and renewal
Zmail charges $1 USD for the first monthly billing cycle. After that introductory month, the same PayPal subscription renews automatically at $5 USD per month until cancellation. The $1 payment is not a one-time lifetime purchase or a free trial. The $5 renewal price is disclosed during signup and PayPal approval. Taxes or currency conversion may be applied by PayPal where relevant. The owner may separately grant selected accounts complimentary lifetime or time-limited access; such access is not a PayPal payment or paid subscription and may be revoked independently.
4. Your account
You are responsible for protecting your Google account, mail password, recovery material and devices. You must notify us promptly about suspected compromise. You may not sell, share or automate accounts in a way that evades limits or weakens security.
5. Content and acceptable use
You retain responsibility for your messages, notes, events, contacts, files, zSign documents, recipient authority and signature requests. You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. Do not treat zSign as legal advice or assume that every electronic signature is enforceable in every jurisdiction or for every document type. We may rate-limit, quarantine, reject, suspend or close accounts to protect users, infrastructure, legal compliance or third parties.
6. Cancellation, failed payment and closure
You may cancel future renewal. Service normally continues to the end of the paid period. Failed or reversed payment may lead to a grace period, restricted sending, read-only access, suspension or closure. Export important mail and Workspace data before cancellation or closure.
7. Availability and delivery
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, sync, reminder timing, delivery timing or acceptance by every receiving system. Email and reminders can be delayed, rejected, filtered or lost for reasons inside or outside Zmail’s control. Keep separate copies of critical information.
8. Optional ChatGPT connection
You may connect Zmail to ChatGPT through the supported OAuth flow and can revoke that connection. Connector tools may read selected mail, calendar data and ZNotes, and may offer write actions such as creating drafts, sending standard email, creating events or updating notes when your OpenAI plan and confirmation controls permit them. Content returned to ChatGPT is handled under your relationship with OpenAI. Instructions found inside messages, notes or events do not authorise separate actions. You remain responsible for reviewing recipients, content, dates, times and other consequential details before approving a write action.
9. Security boundaries
TLS and filtering reduce risk but do not eliminate phishing and malware. ZMath Mail applies only to eligible message bodies sent in Zmail webmail between ready Zmail devices; it does not protect subject lines, standard routing metadata, drafts, attachments or external-provider messages. Email sent through the ChatGPT connector is standard email and is not automatically ZMath protected. A valid embedded-key signature proves integrity for that key, not independent sender identity. ZNotes is encrypted twice at rest but the authenticated service can decrypt it for use, recovery and an authorised connector request. Calendar and contacts remain server-readable for sync, scheduling and reminders. ZMath Shield applies only to content exported as a .zmath vault. You are responsible for safeguarding the passphrase, pattern and encrypted file required to restore that vault.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zmail is provided without guarantees beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. We are not responsible for indirect loss, lost profit, lost opportunity or harm caused by user content, external providers or events beyond reasonable control. Nothing excludes liability that law does not permit us to exclude.
11. Contact and changes
Questions can be sent to admin@zmail.my. We may update these Terms for service, legal or security reasons; the effective date will change and material updates may require renewed acceptance.
